The Monashee now has just over 1,000 hours on the engines and she is still just a really excellent boat.  And no question about it, the Monashee catches fish.

The big trip this year was running to Ucluelet and and fishing with 6 different groups of buddies and family who drove up.   Fishing was absolutely excellent.  The fish coming to the inside and the Broken group were late however so just about all the fishing was 5-20 miles offshore in the ocean.  Fog and sloppy ocean seas were typical.  The Monashee performed very well.

Approximately 100 salmon have been frozen or eaten.  80 King salmon from 15-35 pounds and 20 Coho to 10 pounds.   Hundreds of smaller salmon or wild Coho were released.
